The Super 42CW is designed to size, shape, cut to length and twist-wrap confectionery products such as toffee, bubble gum and Salt Water Taffy, fed in rope form from a suitable Batch Roller/Rope Sizer or Extruder. The machine produces principally round shaped sweets in 'whirl' ('kiss') style, which allows the design in the sugar rope to be visible through the wrapping material. Further developed and improved by A.M.P-Rose, the machine is now capable of speeds up to 800 pieces/minute.

A.M.P-Rose Super 42HSF
Cut & Fold Wrap Machine

The Super 42HSF is one of the fastest cut and fold wrappers in the world. It sizes, shapes, cuts to length and fold wraps toffee, caramel, fruit chew, bubblegum, or high boiled sugar fed in rope form from a Batch Roller/Rope Sizer or Extruder. The machine produces square and rectangular shaped sweets. Further developed and improved by A.M.P-Rose, the machine is now capable of speeds up to 1000 pieces/minute.

Style of wrap:

  • The machine can be set to perform either turned-under or end folds, as shown.

The A.M.P-Rose 340 takes a rope of confectionery product and processes it into a stick-pack. The machines have proved to be extremely successful and are in operation worldwide. The latest versions of these machines incorporate many new features.

The machine comprises two almost identical wrapping modules, (each

based on the A.M.P-Rose 750) linked on a common base. The first cuts and wraps individual pieces in end or under fold style. The second collates the required number of pieces, then overwraps them to form a stick-pack, in an 'on edge' presentation. Both wrapping operations and the unique collating mechanism are controlled by one main drive unit providing a constantly synchronized system.

The 340 can be fed from an A.M.P-Rose batch roller/sizer or an extruder and is capable of handling toffee, caramel, high boiled sugar, fruit chews and bubble gum.

The A.M.P-Rose 342 takes a rope of confectionery product and processes it into a stick-pack. The machines have proved to be extremely successful and are in operation worldwide. The latest versions of these machines incorporate many new features.

The machine comprises two almost identical wrapping modules, (each based on the A.M.P-Rose 750) linked on a common base. The first cuts and

wraps individual pieces in end or under fold style. The second collates the required number of pieces, and then overwraps them to form a stick-pack, in a 'flat-pack' presentation. Both wrapping operations and the unique collating mechanism are controlled by one main drive unit providing a constantly synchronized system.

The 342 can be fed from an A.M.P-Rose batch roller/sizer or an extruder and is capable of handling toffee, caramel, high boiled sugar, fruit chews and bubble gum.

Styles of wrap and sequence of operations:

The plastic rope enters the machine through two pairs of metering rollers conforming to the section of the piece, the length being cut off by guillotine type knives. The cut piece is pushed with the cut wrapper into the wrapping wheel. The folds are initiated in the wrapping wheel and completed in the rake discharge. The individually wrapped pieces are transferred through a collation unit, which gathers them into groups of the required number of pieces per stick. The groups are then cross-pushed with the outer wrapper into the second wrapping wheel where the stick-pack tube is formed. Double point end folds are made by ploughs and a rake discharge.

The A.M.P-Rose ICW machine takes a rope of confectionery product, forms it into the desired size and shape and transfers the cut piece to a horizontal form, fill and seal machine for wrapping.

The machine is usually fed directly from an A.M.P-Rose BR42 Batch Roller and RS66/67 Rope Sizer or an extruder and cooling tunnel.

A.M.P-Rose 42B-FC
Stick-Pack Machine

The A.M.P-Rose 42B-FC is a machine that cuts and individually fold-wraps pieces of fruit chew, hard candy, toffee or bubble gum fed in rope form either from an extruder or batch roller/sizer. The machine automatically counts and collates the fold-wrapped pieces and transfers the desired number into the infeed of a flow-wrapping machine. The flow-wrap machine then overwraps the products to make a 'stick-pack, as shown below'.
